1. Benchtop Resurfacing

The traditional method of removing and replacing the current benchtop with a solid piece of stone or marble is a timely and costly exercise. Fortunately new technology means we can install 7mm engineered granite benchtops, which are simply and permanently bonded to the existing kitchen benchtop.

The beauty of this method is that it can take as little as 1-2 days to install, without any demolition required. This avoids the disruption of having an unusable kitchen for several weeks and you could be cooking in your modern refurbished kitchen in no time. We can even change the shape of your benchtop or add an island to modernise your kitchen and match your lifestyle.

Unlike traditional methods, we can install a benchtop overlay without damaging the kitchen splashback. Keeping your existing splashback means there’s no need to worry about the cost, time and mess of retiling or replacing this area.

2. Door Replacement

One of the most common questions we are asked is ‘Can I keep my kitchen cabinets and just replace the cabinet doors?’. The certified kitchen designers at Granite Transformations will evaluate the condition of your current internal cabinetry to assess whether kitchen door replacement is a viable option. On average, a kitchen under 25 years old is usually suitable for door replacement and we encourage this to protect our environment from unnecessary building waste.

3. Splashback Resurfacing

If you choose to upgrade your splashback, you can choose to resurface the splashback with the same stone as your benchtop. We have a stunning range of stone and marble splashback surfaces to choose from. And don’t worry about messy tile removal, our superior 7mm stone goes straight over tiles!

Engineered stone splashbacks are a clever and modern way to showcase your stunning new stone surface. You also won’t need to worry about cleaning dirty grout lines – a common problem with tiles. Our surfaces are stain resistant and easy to keep clean.

If you’d like to keep your existing splashback we can do that too! Unlike other renovation methods we don’t remove the existing benchtop, so your existing splashback will not be damaged.
