Main Highlights

Timber Battens

Architecturally, timber battens are a big hit.  They’re being used for feature walls both internally and externally, staircases, room dividers and even ceilings. We’re seeing lots of new builds incorporating them into kitchen islands to replace panels and accentuate curves (which is very on trend).

Stone Benchtops

You can’t deny that stone benchtops and splashbacks are the top choice, especially for high-end kitchens, bathrooms and laundries. It’s a beautiful, natural and durable option for these high traffic areas. Granite Transformation’s exclusive stone has the added benefit of less maintenance as it’s heat, scratch and stain resistant without the need to apply ongoing sealants.

LED strip lighting

We’re seeing these strategically placed over the kitchen island providing a functional feature that is both modern and sophisticated. They look particularly smart coordinated with a kitchen accent such as oak or brushed metal.
