Bondi Client Brief | Our customer wanted an easy kitchen refresh for their rental property in Bondi. The existing laminate benchtop was tired and outdated and they liked the idea of being able to install a stone benchtop without the mess and fuss of removing the existing benchtop. This Bondi benchtop resurface meant there would be little disruption to the current tenants as the installation could be carried out in 1-2 days. The client wanted to keep the existing tiled splashback which wasn’t a problem as the benchtop overlay could be intstalled without damaging the tiles. Lastly, the hardwearing properties of stone makes our stone tops the ideal choice for rental properties such as this one.

Design Process
German Anchique, one of our certified kitchen designers, assessed the existing kitchen and it was agreed that the kitchen doors were still in good order. A simple benchtop resurface was sufficient to breathe new life into this kitchen. The client chose stardust stone from our classic stone range – a bright white surface with fine ebony and slate speckling. Lightening up the benchtop created a refreshing, open space and modernised the overall design.
What is Benchtop Resurfacing?
Once our client selected their stone colour, our experienced craftsmen carefully measured the existing benchtop and the new benchtop was handcrafted for an exact fit and bonded to the existing benchtop.
As the pioneers of stone resurfacing, we combine the world’s finest granites, quartz and polymer technology to create a brilliantly stone surface that’s only 6.5mm thick and is ideal for a range of applications including:

2. Coogee
Kitchen Makeover
Coogee Client Brief | Our client wanted to transform their dark and traditional kitchen into a more coastal, contemporary style. This Coogee kitchen makeover included a benchtop and splashback resurface and door replacement. Our experienced installers covered the existing stone surfaces with our Sea Salt stone overlay. Sea Salt is a popular choice for coastal homes as it features soft whites and greys with an exceptionally fine, sand-like crystalline finish. The doors were removed and replaced with quality Shaker Doors 593-3S painted in a Lexicon Quarter satin finish. The dated door knobs were upgraded to chrome kitchen door handles. All our doors are installed with your choice of quality handles and soft-close hinges. Before installing the benchtop, we improved the design by removing the servery first. This created a useable breakfast bar and really opened up the space.
