This two-bedroom beach-side apartment in Cronulla was looking tired and outdated and in need of a facelift. Thankfully, It was brought back to life with a complete renovation througout. Our skilled team helped transform the kitchen with a simple and straightforward benchtop resurface. The best part for the owners was the whole job was completed in two days without the need to demolish or remove the existing kitchen. The owners were thrilled with our “no waste, no mess, no fuss” approach to renovating, and the results speak for themselves!

A benchtop resurface without demolition
This Cronulla kitchen makeover was a breeze to install and made a huge impact once complete. We resurfaced the existing laminate benchtop with Sea Salt Stone, a popular choice from our classic stone range. The rounded or “bull-nosed” laminate edge was squared off, and the stone cut to size and permanently bonded to the existing benchtop. We can also resurface existing tiled splashbacks without the need to remove the old tiles. You can see an example of this below.
The colour of Sea Salt stone is perfect for achieving a coastal vibe. As one of the lightest shades from our stone range, it’s as light as fresh sea spray and delivers a clean, crisp feel. The surface features soft whites and greys and a fine, sand-like crystalline finish. This kitchen’s before and after photos show how effective a benchtop resurface like this one can be. A total transformation.
Pre-Sale renovation
Once this Cronulla home renovation was complete and put on the market, the owners were able to advertise their apartment with an ultra-modern kitchen featuring stone benchtops and stainless steel appliances – a big tick for potential buyers.
Other features included a fully renovated main bathroom, laundry and balcony. After some professional styling, this home was dressed to impress and ready for inspections 👀

Firstly, consider the colours of the more permanent fixtures such as your wall colour, built in cabinetry, flooring and window furnishings.
