Pantone Colour of the Year 2023

Viva Magenta
A shade rooted in nature. It descends from the red family and expresses a new signal of strength. It’s a confident and electrifying hue.
Pantone’s Colour of The Year 2023 is powerful and empowering. An animated red that revels in pure joy. It encourages experimentation without restraint. A boundless shade that welcomes anyone and everyone with the same verve for life and rebellious spirit.

Home-InteriorS
Daring designers and home-owners alike can harness the full power of the Colour of the Year with a luxe lounge or accent wall. Those who prefer neutral interiors can use it as a pop of colour instead. As a striking lighting fixture or floral arrangement punctuating a neutral dining room. An abstract canvas in a white entry-way or lounge room. In the kitchen or bathroom, adding magenta towels or colourful vignettes with bottles and bowls allows Viva Magenta to pack a lot of drama in a small dose.
Kitchen Tip 💡
Take inspiration from this vibrant colour with red-coloured wood in the kitchen. Striking red-based kitchen door colours include Sienna Figured-Wood, Florentine Walnut and Tasmanian Oak

Colour Psychology
Viva Magenta balances boldness and power with a feeling of fun and celebration. It inspires confidence and humanity. The combination of accelerated globalization with the chaos of recent events has made us more connected and pushed us to meet others with compassion.
Viva Magenta offers us the motivation we need to weather long-term disruptive events and reminds us of our ability to heal. It encourages us to continue and sends us out into the world with the verve, power and grace we’ve yearned for.
